Bills Could Be Cure for Jets' Woes

2009_10_rexryan.jpg After performing poorly on offense against New Orleans and being run over by Miami, the Jets will try to snap a two-game losing streak when they face the Bills at the Meadowlands this afternoon. How bad is Buffalo? The Bills lost, 6-3, to the woeful Browns and Eric Mangini last week. Wide diva receiver Terrell Owens has not provided the boost they expected when they acquired him this offseason.

Mark Sanchez can't do everything on his own. If the Jets allow 413 yards, as they did last week in Miami, things won't be good. But the Bills don't have the playmakers to get to the Jets. Trent Edwards won't throw the ball down the field -- his nickname is "Checkdown" -- and Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch should be contained by the Jets' front seven.

Rex Ryan's talking the talk looked great for the first three weeks, and there's no reason he should stop acting as he has since he took over. But know that the Jets aren't as invincible as they looked in romping to wins over the Texans, Patriots and Titans. Last season, the Jets swept this series for the first time since 2002, but they needed a foolish fumble by the Bills to win the game in New Jersey. As poorly has the Jets played the past two weeks, they'd have to really shoot themselves in the foot to fall at home. It won't happen.

A thing of majesty...it wasn't.

umm... not quite the cure, huh rex?

Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets are in Toronto Ontario on December 3rd 2009. It will be great to see these two teams square off against each other - again! Rematch!!!
