First Nor'easter of the Season?
Graphic from accuweather.com
After a cool night tonight we can expect an overcast Thursday with rain beginning after noon. As the nor'easter strengthens the winds will pick up tomorrow night. Friday will see perfect baseball weather with more wind and rain and a high only in the mid 40s. The Catskills and Berkshires will see s___ mixed in with the rain (we refuse to use th s-word until after election day). The northeast winds and rain may result in coastal flooding.
The storm will begin to recede on Saturday but the northeast will still be under a circulation pattern that favors rainfall. Look for an overcast weekend with an ever present chance of a shower. The temperature will rebound all the way to the lower 50s on both Saturday and Sunday. Sunny and warmer weather will wait for the return of the work week.
