GOP Senator Snowe Will Vote For Health Reform

2009_10_olsnow.jpg Senator Olympia Snow (R-Maine) said that she would back the Democrats' plan for health care reform. During a Senate Finance Committee meeting, she said, "Is this bill all that I would want? Far from it. Is it all that it can be? No. But when history calls, history calls... The mark before us produces some bipartisan landmark reforms. It bolsters what works in the system and engenders quality and competition."

Good for her. Snow should've been McCain's mate before the Moosehunter snatched up the ... moose.

It ain't over yet. Still plenty of time for them to water it down...

"Is this bill all that I would want? Far from it. Is it all that it can be? No. But when history calls, history calls."

Wow. So that's her reasoning? No wonder this country is going to hell in a handbasket with unintelligible "leaders" like this.

Limbaugh would have never approved her. All Republican choices have to be run by him. McCain, like W, would have been a hand puppet, Bush for Cheney and McCain for Limbaugh.
