Can The Giants Stay Perfect?

If you are looking for the classic definition of a “trap game” this is it. The 4-0 Giants return home, after three-straight road wins, to play the lowly Oakland Raiders before heading on the road to face 4-0 New Orleans.

There is no doubt the Raiders are pathetic. JaMarcus Russell has a QB rating of 42.4 in his third season in the league and he certainly seems on track to be the worst #1 overall selection ever in the NFL Draft. To make matters worse, the Raiders are missing their best running back and they have only managed 42 points in four games this season.

Sure, Eli is hurt and could miss the game. And some fans are probably thinking back to Week 5 of the 2008 season when the undefeated Giants were destroyed by the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football as evidence that they will lose this week. Luckily, the Raiders are coming to New Jersey and the game will not be widely televised, meaning Oakland has little motivation to put up a fight. The Giants might sleepwalk for a while, but they will wake up in time to remain undefeated.

Nuff Said. The Giants can sit down their entire Defensive Line and they'd still win.
