To Catch a Pooper-trator

phpdz6F9sAM.jpg

Spotted on Mott between Spring and Prince: a passive-aggressive note to a mysterious anti-pooper scooper! We just can't help but think this note could have been written better, though. It currently reads: "To person whose dog has taken a shit twice this week and you didn't pick it up. I'll be watching. If I catch you it won't go well for you." The threatening tone is there, but it doesn't seem to have that certain... je ne sais quoi. Next time maybe just try to sick the Sanitation Department on the Pooper-trator.

Ahhhh gotta love those passive-aggressive folks.
This city is full of 'em now.

How is that passive-aggressive?

Thanks for the strikeout correction.

Exactly. As Montoya said "I do not think it means what you think it means."

i hope the person who wrote that note gets their ass kicked or at least a face full of dog shit

8x10 glossies of the perp in action posted up and down the block would be pretty damn funny.

I'm so glad to see the gothamist is doing proof reading now. True, it's not on your own posts (anyone wanna go mountain climbing in Tibert?), but it's a start.

The note would have been more persuasive if the writer had used a butcher knife to affix it to the tree.

How does the person who wrote this note know that the same person's dog twice pooped in that area? Was he watching? Or did he maybe compare the dog craps?

Just by looking at dog craps you can pretty much tell if its the same dog. They're like fingerprints. No two dog anuses are alike.
