PH.Y.I.: Phish to Play MSG in December

Brah, Phish is returning to the Garden. Not Jones Beach, not some festival across the country... Manhattan. This December 2nd, 3rd and 4th, the band will descend upon this fair city, bringing with it a flood of hippie supernumeraries. This is great news for Phish fans, and possibly a warning for the rest of you to take a 3-day trip out of town. Tickets go on sale October 23rd, unless you wanna hold out for a miracle.

At press time, it's still unclear if Tom Hanks will show up.

rampant misinformation, stereotyping and general asshattery from people who have never heard a note going on here.

I'd pay just to see the freegan dumpster divers duking it out with the rats after the show.

Actually more than 70% of Phish fans rank in the lower 10th percentile for hygiene.

While I think Phish fans are dedicated and fun-loving, they do smell like dirty hippies and we all know from science class that smell travels faster when it's warm.

Why all the Phish hate? They're just four insanely talented musicians who happen to have a huge fan base. And believe it or not, the bulk of their fans aren't dirty hippies.

Could the make it the first of February? I only ask because the smell of dirty hippie won't travel as far in the dead of winter, and it could still be warmish in December...
