Shocking Theft

2009_10_stungun.jpg The criminals hold the tasers now! Watch out would-be targets, if last year the machete was the weapon of choice, one mugger in Brooklyn may be unintentionally spearheading a taser trend. The Brooklyn Paper notes that on October 2nd "a stun-gun-toting purse snatcher shocked a victim on Bayard Street [at Graham Avenue] before running off. The woman was walking home from a bar at around 3 a.m." The robber ran off with her purse, cash and cell phone after she collapsed to the ground. Serious buzz kill.

Que Williamsburg haters who'll say she was obviously a trust fund hipster who deserved it because she was walking near McCarren Park.

Still don't get why anyone walks alone at 3am. That's just stupid.

Especially a woman in that nabe with all the rapes happening.

oblivious 3 a.m. drunk damsel = easy mark sucker

What a great investment for wannabe thiefs.
Even if it costs $1,000 each.
Buy 10, go to a bank, taser the guards.
and employees.
What's better, taser the money truck drivers.
What's better, taser the cops, steal their guns.

That really sucks, but I wish more criminals would use tasers instead of guns/knives. It would prevent a lot of the tragedies we've been seeing. Of course I would prefer that they didn't commit crime at all!

living in ny is a pleasure, specially when you have to walk home.

ima hook my electrodes to that fuckers balls

As they keep saying always walk in groups and with your friends.

is this going to make a full rubber suit fashionable ?
