The Jane Street NIMBYs have been pulling out all the stops lately, and their latest stunt brings them offline. Yes, this sign is suggesting dog owners walk their dog right over to The Jane and encourage them to pee on it. To be exact, it says: "Let's face it, every dog needs to do his thing. But when doing it, why not also let him show The Jane Hotel exactly what he thinks about them running an illegal club in a quiet residential neighborhood?"
Let's forget for a moment that flyering is illegal, and that a little dog pee on the exterior of a building will go unnoticed by everyone, and that these dogs probably don't care that there's a club playing music at night, and that we live in New York City where sometimes clubs exist... what do you think of this stunt: Brilliant? Immature? Game changer?

Flyering is illegal? Really?
THAT SHIT IS CORNY, SON
See, if it were crapping, now that would be something.
Is there really such a thing as a 'Quiet residential neighborhood" in Lower Manhattan?
You should just title this, "I read Gawker in the morning". Another quality post Jen!
suburban zombies are so unoriginal.
"Quiet residential neighborhood?" That's what suburbs are for. This is Manhattan, crybabies.
What the hell is a NIMBY. Seriously, should I know what that is supposed to mean?
oh these are always fun.

lol wow, so good
Ok fair play. Usually though googling acronyms gives you a shit ton of companies with the name and other non-related crap.
You think that rich folks would come up with better clip art.
Gotta love old rich people... using their animals in the fight against the youth of Manhattan. What's next, ramming into people from behind with their chauffeur-driven Towncars?
That's just silly.
Sean MacPherson and Richard Born are operating illegally. They don't care at all about the quality of life of their neighbors. Jane Street is actually very quiet and who cares if the people who live there are affluent? These clowns are out to make a quick buck and don't care at all about anyone except themselves.
Happily, they got raided on Friday. And will be raided again and shut down.
They should crawl back to whatever hole they crawled out of.
