State Capitol Plays Up Haunted, Tormented Image

When we heard the State's Office of General Services is offering "Capitol Hauntings" tours of the Capitol Building in Albany, we were hoping it would involve a room where the bodies were buried after the State Senate coup or maybe an echo chamber with Spitzer saying he's a "fucking steamroller." But, alas, it just involves things like "the legend of the 'Secret Demon' near the Great Western Staircase" and "which two Presidents of the United States are said to have visited the State Capitol after they died." Every president before Martin Van Buran (and WHH after) were born when the US was a colony of Great Britain, thus technically not born in the United States.
