Uh-oh? Giants quarterback Eli Manning will be getting an MRI on his swollen and sore foot. It was a non-contact injury; the Daily News says it occurred during the 4th quarter of the Giants' 4th victory this season, when he "planted his right leg, then hopped, then completed his throw, and immediately dropped to the ground." Manning said, "I don't think it's nothing to be worried about. It will be getting rid of the soreness," and was getting ice and stim treatment for it. Still, his status for Sunday's game against the Raiders depends on how fast it heels.

"I don't think it's nothing to be worried about. It will be getting rid of the soreness,"
Assuming that the above quote is correct, can you tell what Junior High School did this guy graduate from? Did he play football there with or without a helmet?
Whatever it might be, they should have not punished him for flunking English by hitting him with an ugly stick.
Eli Manning isn't exactly Hemingway, but he's no dummy either. Eli Manning v Gothamist, I'd say there's a better chance that the Gothamist made the mistake.
Or the AP/ESPN:

Eli Manning is an ugly quarterback. He will go just so far. I don't see him on any Wheaties box or advertising Calvin Cline jeans and stuff. He looks like that swimmer guy who wonded a bunch of gold metals at the last Olympics. Yu know wat's his name.
And will youse people stop knocking the spelling and grammer errers her on the Gothamist. I understand the basiks of wat they are saying.
If your mudder and fadder had a problem with crossing the I's and dotting the T's fine. Just don't complain all the time about the few errors that Gothamist does.
Eh. He's an athlete, and spends most of his time around athletes and talking to athletes. He's well educated and clearly an intelligent guy, and certainly knows that the sentence isn't grammatically correct -- but it's the vernacular of the culture he lives and works in.
Please record yourself speaking for a while, then transcribe. You may be SHOCKED to discover that your English is not quite as pristine as you believe it to be.
It wasn't quite like Phil Simms's non-contact season ending injury in 1990. Or LT's. He was able to walk on it and even stayed in the game for one more play and threw another TD. But it's still something to worry about. Against the Raiders this week he may just play backup to Carr.
Waiting for pointsguy to criticize Jen for "heels".
Nice one.
