Zombies Flock to Times Square

With the month in which we celebrate All Hallows Eve upon us, a bunch of New Yorkers got a head start on ringing in the arrival of October by making themselves up as zombies and descending upon the center of the city. The Zombie Walk was a promotional event sponsored by the new movie Zombieland, the film that was apparently so intense to shoot that Woody Harrelson got a TMZ photographer confused with one of the zombies he had fought after it had wrapped.

We imagine that the tourists in Times Square saw all of the zombies wandering down Broadway and said to each other, "Oh I bet this kind of thing happens here all the time." Which, actually, they might not be too far off about.

A lot of those zombies need to hit the zombie stairmaster, or at least eat more vegetables and less fatty brains.

all of the zombies got free admission to a preview screening of the movie that night with woody harrelson in attendance
