Pups Crawl, Run Across Brooklyn Bridge

pupcrawl2.jpg

The folks who put on this weekend's Pup Crawl, which we mentioned in our newsletter last week, sent us some photos we just couldn't resist posting! (If you have glow-in-the-dark leash envy, you can pick up your own here.) They also tell us that through their event, which brought dogs and their owners across Brooklyn Bridge—taking it over from cyclists and pet-free pedestrians, they "raised more than $3,000 for local animal shelters."

While that's good news, CityRoom draws attention to the serious side of the crawl, noting that dogs and cats are losing their homes because of the economy; "An estimated 500,000 to one million pets may lose their homes because of foreclosures, according to an estimate put out by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals."

While (wisely) there is no "cat walk," you can still help out the felines by attending the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals Adopt-a-Cat event, coming up on October 17th and 18th at the Javits Center.

Stop breeding them. Adopt. Stop buying them. They are not commodities but living beings. Fucking sick people

Eat them. Low in cholesterol, pretty good sauteed.
Almost as good as horse, oui?
"You don't have to put on the red light".
Yeah, Roxy, a bunch of folks raising money for local shelters is just soooooo inhumane.

Idiot, why the hell do you keep calling me a woman. You are such an idiot. And why do you keep following me around. Get a life loser. Stop posting people's name that you don't even know.

Nah, just a nickname. For now. Maybe if you stop posting nasty vitriolic comments on posts such as a bunch of folks taking a healthy walk with their sidekicks for a good cause, people wouldn't poke ya so much. BTW you forgot to post the video.

"bunch of folks"? Get over yourself. You are high on your own supply. the fact the you keep responding to me proves how pathetic you really are.
