The Post reports that Michael Biserta (Brooklyn Ladder Co. 131) was "named as the 'other man' in the New Jersey divorce"—apparently he and "former 'Wife Swap' star Jamie Czerniawski" had been texting hours before she stabbed her husband in the arm on Memorial Day earlier this year. Even though he got engaged in February, one of the texts Biserta sent to Czerniawski in May said, "This sucks... I'm working toooo much lately... I want youuuu." He even invites her to visit him at the firehouse! Biserta had no comment.
Biserta's Guys Gone Wild video appearance—where he showed his hose—prompted the FDNY to ban the department's participation in the Calendar of Heroes.

I saw that video. It was niiiiiiiiiiiiice. I just needed to mute it so I couldn't hear him talk.

I seem to recall that the Red Hook firehouse had words painted on it that said "The Happy Hookers." Don't know if the words are still there. If so, perhaps it's time to paint over them.
