Americans' Stockpile Of Cash = Continuing Stock Rally?

2009_cash.jpg Bloomberg News says that Americans are hoarding $3.5 trillion in cash, "giving money managers increasing confidence that the stock market rally under President Barack Obama will continue through the end of the year." One investor said, "There’s an enormous stockpile of liquidity on the sidelines. The reinvestment of cash could help fuel the market." And there's even smack-talking about some cautious investors, with one sniffing, "Many of the fund managers I talk to that have missed this rally or underplayed this rally are sitting with way too much cash."

The Mint's printing presses can't work fast enough!

I'm saving my cash for when I can get one of those no-doc loans and buy some nice prime NYC real estate - or maybe Florida - so I can triple my money in a year and have even more to play with - you know real estate, buy now or be priced out forever. After all, prices can only go up! Then maybe I can invest in some really high yield securitized mortgage back investments. I hear those are the bomb!

How contradictory! The president of the World Bank announced today that he foresees that the dollar will not only TANK very soon but also that its day as reserve currency of choice ARE OVER.

So keep saving that "cash", it'll come in handy for wiping your azzes when toilet paper becomes more valuable than the dollar itself. Sometime scheduled to happen by next week probably.
