Giants Put Their Best Foot Forward Heading To Tampa

The Giants are having a hard time getting healthy, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Justin Tuck, Kevin Dockery, Aaron Ross and Chris Canty are all expected to miss the game on Sunday. Kenny Phillips has been placed on Injured Reserve, which means his season is over, so the defense will be thin again, especially in the secondary.

Luckily, things are a lot better on the other side of the ball. Domenik Hixon probably won’t play, but Mario Manningham has been a revelation at wideout. Steve Smith is coming off of a ten-catch game and the offensive line and, most importantly, Eli Manning are healthy.

And it’s that healthy offense that should lead the Giants to victory over a soft Tampa defense. The Bucs rank 27th against the pass and 28th against the run. The Giants should be able to exploit that early and often as they put more than enough points up to improve to 3-0.

I hope they don't use the same doctors as the Mets.

b4 the injuries thas wae a 'trap' game anyway. if the g-men win, they are real for sure.

Unless one of them shot themselves, I'm not sure why this is "news"?
