Obama's Terrifying Unchanging Smile

Eric Spiegelman put together this amazing stream of 130 photos of Obama posing with dignitaries during this week's U.N. meetings (long video after the jump). And Obama's smile never changes. Of course you may suspect some Photoshopping, but Spiegelman defends himself by directing us to the State Department's flickr site. [Via Daily Intel]

I'm all for a consistent smile. If it weren't consistent, people would start analyzing why he's smiling "this" way with one person and "that" way with another. If I had to take 130 photos with a bunch of dignitaries I'd have a frozen grin as well.

Love the video, though. I with we could have seen it with Michelle as well. I wonder how consistent she was.

It doesn't seem strange to me. They were obviously all taken in the exact same spot at about the same time. He's standing there with a smile frozen on his face while the various dignitaries take turns getting their picture taken with him. Why would anyone expect him to look uniquely different in each picture?

it clearly is a body double, he is new, has not learned all facial expressions yet, and is trying not to give up the disguise by not altering his face and stance too much.
