A Peek Inside the Presidential Suite

Lots of talk this week about where the tyrants are staying. Ever wonder where the American presidents stay? All of them since Truman have stayed at the Waldorf Astoria, on 50th and Park. Huffpost embeds two video tours, one by a woman who got randomly upgraded to the presidential suite when checking in to the hotel. Glitzy!

    $7,000 a night? That's more than I make in a day.

I looked at the video and I didn't see a mini-bar or ice bucket. What gives? Plus where is the TV and the usual modern art that every upscale Motel Six has?

If you ask me I think the tax payer is getting ripped off on this deal.

Jeez, we were thinking of staying at the Waldorf for our wedding night, I'm guessing we won't be lucky enough to get randomly upgraded to the presidential suite if we do!
