A woman leaving a Chelsea nightclub escaped a kidnapping that could have gotten a lot worse by jumping out of the moving car she had been pulled into as it sped away down Ninth Avenue. The 21-year-old who had been partying at Club Velour on 10th Avenue is not revealing her identity, but allowed her picture to be published in the Post.
She told them, "I was in the middle of the street. I couldn't see anything because I hit my head. My head was bleeding. It was all gray." The woman says that two or three guys pulled her into a car after hollering at her along 10th around 1 a.m. on Thursday. After one alluded to them "having a good time," she jumped out, busting her head open as she hit the concrete near the corner of Ninth Ave and 23rd Street.
The tabloid says it talked to police sources who said she had been drinking and gave only a sketchy description of the car. One detective told them, "We're not 100 percent sure what happened. But right now we're treating it as a kidnapping."

Well of course her description is gonna be blurry, she nailed her head on the street! It really probably has less to do with her drinking than having a head injury.
In a car jacking or kidnapping, the perpetrator wants to get his victim as far away from others as he can. The usual result is then rape, torture and murder. This woman had great survival instincts. Anything is better than staying in that car. Believing in "Do as I say and you won't get hurt" is the last thing you should do.
Never ever allow yourself to be moved to a second crime scene. The odds of the outcome being much worse are much exponentially higher. Do whatever it takes to escape any kidnapping attempt as early as possible in as public a place as possible. NEVER ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE MOVED TO SECLUSION.
thanks to the Hofstra Ho&trade I'm looking at this with one big side-eye and all rapes from now on. Thanks Hofstra Ho&trade . PS, Gothamist, You can use my Hofstra Ho&trade meme from now on but I want royalties.
I felt the same way. But I can't imagine why she would make all that up. Plus she's all kinds of messed up and in the hospital.
