Heads Up: NJ Air Show Means NY Harbor, Hudson Flyovers

See any military planes downtown? Well, this alert explains some: "Teterboro Airport in New Jersey is hosting a military air show from 9/17/09 through 9/19/09. Expect military aircraft flyovers above the New York Harbor and the Hudson River."

Was this on NotifyNYC? I didn't get one. :(

Anyway, this is about the Teterboro Wings & Wheels Show...mostly old warbirds on display and doing some demos. Should be nice weather. $10 a head, proceeds go to the museum they have up there. Personally I'm holding out for Kiwanis Club's LaGuardia Airport Kids Day next Saturday, which is free and open to all, not just kids. No official lineup yet, but in the past airliners, police choppers, military planes have been available for you to explore, and the Geico SkyTypers usually show up.
