You may not have been invited to sit cross-legged in the front row of Ungaro, but that doesn't mean that you can't put a little fashion in your week.

Tonight, what seems like the entire city will be celebrating Fashion's Night Out, a frilly fête brought to you by Anna Wintour and meant to "promote retail, restore consumer confidence and celebrate fashion." But this is no ordinary night out shopping, Papermag, who has a detailed list of the best spots to hit up, says you'll also get rewarded for your purchases with things like "celebrities making you coffee [like Lohan?], Vogue editors reading to you and fashion designers singing for you." Of course, they also point out that if you couldn't afford Chanel yesterday, you sure as hell aren't going to be able to afford it tonight either.

Our picks: Ciao Bella is handing out free gelato from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Vanderbilt Avenue Taxi Stand at Grand Central; so start your night out there, where no one else in the fashion world will be! Next up, Kiehl's is offering up a performance by Constantine Maroulis, cocktails, food, celeb drop-ins and a raffle. And Brooklyn, fashion is finding its way across the East River, too; Eponymy is serving up champagne, cupcakes and an in-house tattoo artist this evening! Find out where else Wintour suggests you spend your cash, here, or follow along on Twitter, where we find out that you can even meet Manolo Blahnik—the man that launched a million well-heeled women onto the sidewalks.
