I knew of a guy, waiting for a heart transplant in a Connecticut hospital. He had been there all winter and was getting antsy. A resident MD told him to have patience. Spring was coming, and Connecticut, without a helmet law for bikers, would have a good supply of healthy body parts. It's exactly how the plan worked out. He got his new heart and lived a few more years.
