City Councilman John Liu is running for Comptroller and, in a TV ad, he says he's worked in a sweat shop with his parents. However, a Daily News reporter wrote yesterday that he never did, based on what Liu's mother told her: Jamy Liu says she never worked in factory, though she did bring home fabric; her sons helped her with and were "paid 25 cents for every ball he spun on a yarn-spinning tool," money that Liu's father Joseph said was "allowance." Liu fired back, with a statement on his website, calling the News piece "gotcha" journalism, "My mom was very reluctant and embarrassed to talk about her experience working in the garment industry," and noted that many sweatshops "including the one my mother worked in - combined factory hours with home-based piece work to maximize the exploitation and squeeze the most out of workers: even after leaving the factory, the work never ends." Today, the News stands firm and wonders why Liu "initially said his mother worked in a sweatshop while her children were 'latchkey' kids. Now he claims she worked at home during the school year, but brought her boys to the factory during the summer." Liu is the same asshole who held up the biking legislation that people had been working on for years because he didn't want a rival to get credit. He's I dishonest man. This is more evidence and likely not the last.
In Daily News Sunday paper, You see LIU as a child in ATHENS vacationing. Sure doesn't look like a child in a sweatshop factory. LIU gave working family party 10 grand for their support. FACT. Also LIU even lie to the forum that the only office he was running for was Public Advocate but then he switch his race to COMPTROLLER. John Liar's other ad claims he helped catch MTA using 2 sets of books. But the claim was made in 2003 STATE controller's audit and a state appeals court later ruled the allegation was UNTRUE. Perhaps Liu's father who was convicted of BANK FRAUD kept 2 sets of books

When he's finally caught with egg on his face...given up by his own mother and father and the story is plastered on the front page of a leading daily newspaper...he feebly tries to shift the blame onto them. Some snake-in-the-grass son they raised! Johnny boy insinuated that they lied just to save face because they were embarrassed. Mom and pop simply didn't want to admit they worked in a sweat shop and covered it up by saying they took piece work home. If he has no respect for his own parents...WHICH HE DOESN'T...and his father was a bank robber...how can we entrust the purse strings of New York City in the hands of a shifty lying stooge (possibly still under the influence of a foreign power)? Didn't Tommy Huang (Liu's cousin) endanger his own mother Su Yu Yeh by putting the RKO Keith's in her name while illegal toxic conditions existed there? Sociopaths must run in the family.

Yassky was endorsed by NY Times and he is the most qualified and progressive of all the comptroller candidate. Al Sharpton says Liu isn't lying. Liu is a LIAR. Both Charles Rangel and Al Sharpon endorse Liu, Liu's father was convicted of BANK FRAUD.

Liu will continue to get votes because he's the highest profile Asian out there. Black, Hispanics and obviously white people have representatives that look like them. Why not Asians?

Liu is shameful to exploit the suffering of sweatshop workers. Real sweatshop workers don't think of it as a game and they work all season not occasionally during the summer.
Now tomorrow Liu the Liar will hold a rally with his mother to retract her previous statements. How DISGUSTING.
Perhaps a counter rally with posters of LIAR LIU should be conducted at LIU rally at Chatam Square at 6pm
