Will the pigeon bullying story be a plot line in an upcoming 30 Rock? The NY Post talked to Morgan Pitts, who rescued the baby falcon from the gang of birds in Greenpoint; he's an assistant prop master at the show, and his first course of action was to bring the little one over to Silvercup Studios, where a friend's wife at the Animal Medical Center was called. The American kestrel has been named Alice Cooper for the markings around its eyes (a moniker that's bound to toughen it up), and it's sex is not yet known—one of the vets saying, "I love this bird. He or she is so cute." Agreed.

I must say that is the cutest lil bird I've ever seen. And I don't even like birds.
stop the presses.
yep, cute overload.
saw it on the news and was watching his belly move, he looks so scared.
Lesson one for veterinarian to determine the sex of the bird. Turn bird upside down. Lesson two. Look at bottom of bird.
Go get them pigeons and geese Alice or Allen Cooper!
Just FYI, Alice Cooper is a dude.
Sorry I didn't realize that. Why would he use a girlie name? To impress his friends at the senior prom and hope to get a kiss?
"Why would he use a girlie name?"
Probably to differentiate himself from all the other snake wielding, guillotine decapitating rock and roll monsters in their 4th decade of fame.
You tell the vet, he probably doesn't know as much as you!
yeah.....except birds don't have external genitalia.
One other thing, American kestrels tend to be female, while American falcons tend to be male. Also no self respecting American falcon would paint their toe nails. I mean they could if they wanted but the other falcons would have a bit of nervousness around him.
This time next year he'll be eating those thug pigeons in Greenpoint.
Kill that blood thirsty murderer before be kills more innocent animals.
Thank you Morgan Pitts for saving this bird, who would have thunk you had it in you :P
Bobby Horvath is a GREAT resource for making sure this little kestral grows up into a pigeon-sized mouse-eater.

Rob, who runs City Birder, will know how to get in touch with Bobby.
neat story , falcon was saved from bird killer Bloomberg
Bloomberg doesn't have the balls to shoot geese or cats. He's kind of a "go do it" kind of guy.
