Michael Douglas, Kelly Sott, Cameron Douglas Following a heroin delivery via electric toothbrush on Monday, Cameron Douglas has been taken out of his UES house arrest digs, and moved over to the Metropolitan Correctional Center. This is also where his girlfriend Kelly Sott is still being held, after making the delivery.
The NY Post talked to a neighbor of the Sott family in Pennsylvania, who told them he "believes Douglas got the pretty 32-year-old hooked on drugs, and that 'she might have gotten sucked into it trying to make him happy.'" Sott maintains she did not know there were drugs in the toothbrush; her hearing is on September 10th.
Meanwhile, the famous Douglas family have released a statement through a spokesperson saying, "The family is devastated and very disappointed in Cameron's recent behavior. Any family who has dealt with substance abuse knows how devastating it can be." People also notes that Douglas, who is accused of being a big time crystal meth dealer, faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison if convicted, but he could end up behind bars for life. But let's be real, this is America and surely his celebrity spawn status will likely get him out of that latter sentence.
