The Greatest Visits New Yankee Stadium

Yesterday, before their 13-6 win over the Red Sox, the Yankees honored boxing legend Muhammad Ali. Ali, in a motorized cart, circled the stadium as he was cheered by fans and as the scoreboard showed clips of his famous bouts. You can see video here.

Ali was at the stadium to present the Yankees with awards from the American Academy of Hospitality Services—a "Six Star Diamond Award" for Yankee Stadium and a "Five Star Award" for Legends Hospitality, LLC. But the fuss was really about Ali—Yankees captain Derek Jeter gave him a Yankees cap and other players were eager to meet him. Jorge Posada shook Ali's hand and later said, "I got chill-bumps, to tell you the truth. I didn't know what to say. I was struck. It was a good feeling to see him at the Stadium."

Alternate headline: Yankee Stadium salutes a brain-damaged draft dodger...cue God Bless America.

Anyway, 2 grown men beating each other up in their underwear may be entertaining for some bit I've never really considered it a sport.

Boxing is brutal, yes, but is far more natural and manly a sport than the filth that is baseball, the "sport" of old fat pigs and douchebags. America's pastime, my ass.

What sport do you hipsters like? Williamsburg Garbage Can Rolling? Brooklun Bridge Long Jump?

Id gladly judge the two of you jumping off the bridge this afternoon.
