The Michael Jackson Tribute You Were Waiting For

Last night Joe's Pub hosted a Michael Jackson edition of their Our Hit Parade series. Some adorable kids joined in on the fun (video here), performing as the Jackson 6, only to be upstaged by one Mr. Alan Cumming. Watch him adorably fumble over the words to "You Are Not Alone" and "Smile":

Speaking of MJ tributes, tickets go on sale tomorrow for one taking place on August 29th. Q-Tip is hosting a “Long Live the King! A Birthday Celebration for Michael Jackson” event at Nokia Theater, featuring Mark Ronson. "The event will honor the King of Pop and celebrate his influence... Attendees will dance the night away to never-before-heard remixes of Michael Jackson’s hits, as well as rare video footage from the Motown and Sony vaults."

Yes, I can't wait to wear my new Gloria-V.

Will there be a Michael Jackson Chia Pet and commemorative plate?

I was waiting for Michael Jackson to get buried so I never, ever have to hear about him again.

If you've got an AmEx you can get tix now

Will there be enough Propanofol for fans to stomach this?

What the hell is he wearing?
