Glenn Beck needs to get his house in order. Only a day after the Fox News Channel host identified President Barack Obama as a white people-hating racist who doesn't not like white people (got that?), he confesses in a YouTube video promoting his latest book that his daughter hopes to attend that august institution of radical Islam and communism, Columbia University. Admits Beck in the video: "My middle daughter, she wants to go to Columbia. Do you have any idea the price of Columbia? Please, buy the book! Buy two! Buy three!" And it gets worse—not only does Beck's daughter want to matriculate at the same school that launched arch-superliberals like Eric Foner, Eric Holder, and Barack Obama, she is also a devoted follower of pagan lit! Says Beck: "My daughter is a huge reader—Harry Potter changed her life." So let this be a lesson to all you parents out there: letting your children read books about godless, spell-casting teen wizards will convert them into snobbish intellectuals with effete Ivy League aspirations. It's almost enough to make you cry. FWIW, one notable Republican's daughter attended Columbia—gay marriage-supporting Meghan McCain.

OMG...Reading all the posts only confirms how ignorant liberals are. Rather than discuss the real issues you spend your time and energy personally attacking your oposition. How about educating yourself about the issues and then try discussing them instead of practicing the typical liberal politics of personal distruction? Are you up to the task?
Wow, 4knapper, I couldn't have said it better myself. Reading these posts made me livid. You are absolutely right about liberals, lefties, etc., only being able to personally attack the other side without backing themselves up with well-researched information. Almost all of them (because there are a few good apples out there who actually KNOW the issues) are only capable of spewing hate and inflating their already over-inflated egos. Glenn Beck is one of the most genuinely honest people I have seen in a VERY long time on any national news station. He is not fear-mongering, he brings up issues and asks honest questions about the possible direction our country is headed, because he is CONCERNED and most other people are afraid to even contemplate. Are we not allowed to ask questions? Dissent is nothing less than patriotic, and without a few standing up against the general consensus, how can we ever expect to advance and improve? And it seems that most of you who have commented on this deplorable, less than admirable hate-piece can only come up with the amount of money he's making as the only reason why he does what he does. If that is true, there are a lot of liberals who do the SAME EXACT THING. I hate the hypocrisy. He hasn't always been a talk show host. Perhaps he's really hitting on some of the big issues in a BIG way and offers good information, and that's why he's such a threat. You could all go and do your own research and come up with something intelligent to say, but most of you would rather congregate with each other in the corner and participate in name-calling (a technique, some of you might be interested knowing, used to promote propaganda....hmmm.....).
