Ted Leo Plays in the Rain, AGAIN
If you aren't familiar with the history of outdoor Ted Leo shows in the city, we have a handy timeline here (albeit, outdated). Mr. Leo linked to it himself yesterday, prior to playing Pier 54. Surprising no one, the forecast called for rain (but on the bright side, no tornado watches this time around); organizers and Leo himself Twittered anxiousl prior to go time. And you know what, as always with the musician, the show went on!
There are plenty of photos on BrooklynVegan, showing that many braved the weather... though apparently no Gothamist readers, as there are no pictures in our Flickr pool (the above is from last year's McCarren show).
