13-Year-Old Fatally Stabbed, Cops Look For "Young Suspects"

2009_07_bkstsh.jpg On Wednesday evening, 13-year-old Miguel Saavedra was fatally stabbed with a screwdriver near his Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn home. According to WCBS 2, "The incident happened on East 15th at Avenue X. Investigators believe the screwdriver stabbing may have been the result of a weekend argument. Police say after the stabbing, the assailant hopped on a bicycle, and at least two other boys ran off." And a girl who attends I.S. 14 told the Daily News, "Some kids messed with his older brother, and the next day he went to the park alone. And that's when some kids stabbed him." The police are looking for "at least three young suspects."

Haven't you heard? Life is cheap.

Especially if the perps are juvie themselves. Then they'll probably be out in 2-3yrs for good behavior if they're ever caught.

He just got a bachelors in criminology before he turns 18. What a bright student he is.

I read the article and clicked the links and there isn't a very good description of the assailants... They are young. This poor kid was murdered and this is the best anyone can do to apprehend these fucking pieces of shit?

People questioned at the scene reported that the perps were 'good kids, went to church'.

You left out the part where they get straight "A's" and will be heading off to Harvard next year.
