- A 13-year-old was stabbed to death with a screwdriver in Sheepshead Bay last night around 7:30 p.m. WABC 7 reports, "The young suspect apparently caught up with his victim blocks later and attacked. He fled the scene on his bicycle."

- Broadway theaters will dim their marquee lights tonight to honor theater district legend Harry Edelstein, the owner of Cafe Edison, better known as the Polish Tea Room. He died Monday at 91.
