Matt & Kim & Their Antics
It's sort of impossible not to love Matt & Kim (we've tried), so it's not surprising that their show on Pier 54 was so well-attended, and well-received, last night. Pat at Pop Tarts Suck Toasted reports back (with video!) saying, "The couple came out and launched into some of their older stuff. 'Yeah Yeah', '5K', and 'Lightspeed' were all played and then they started to mix in some of the newer material as well." (Like that song where they may or may not have taken their clothes off in Times Square for the video.) The happy duo addressed the audience saying "they wanted to one up Beyonce's MSG appearance the other day, they asked everyone to yell at the Empire State Building, they had the kids eating out of their hands with their catchy 2-minute long tunes. As if that weren't enough they also found time to toss out some new CD's and shoot t-shirts out of a cannon." Gotta love outdoor summer concert season.
