It's really not possible. The newsmap just uses a feed from a couple of news sources. It's not like Gothamist has more information that they're choosing not to report, they're posting it as they get it.

  • wac0202

    what was the "unusual incident"?

  • bkbella

Ditto. Is it possible to have the Gothamist Newsmap provide a little more "news"? A short, written description of all the events would be nice!

  • inoyourider

    Ruben Diaz you fucking pussy!

Man up and and stop crying like a bitch.

You had to work one weekend and you sound like a little girl you fucking pansy.

  • pudeljung

    wait

his name is .. glenn THRUSH?

  • Kevin Walsh

I evacuate a subway car immediately when:

--dopey kids like those invade it

    --the Mariachi Brothers show up

    --the hip hop guys enter

--the 3 Gospel Guys show up

    www.forgotten-ny.com

  • AvenueHebrew

Aww. The Mariachi dudes are still fun for me. It all sounds like the same song, but there's no wrong way to play it.

I have yet to see the "3 gospel guys" though. Any preaching I've encountered on the trains mainly comes from a lone Haitian clapping his or her arthritic hands together in a shuddering, arrhythmic series of moans about the glory of Jesus.

  • Rocknrope

a movie that stars Mel Gibson as a "depressed man who finds solace in wearing a beaver hand-puppet."

    So it's a documentary.

  • Atomische

More plausible: Stars Mel Gibson as a depressed serial killer who finds solace in wearing a Jodie Foster hand-puppet.

  • theboneranger

    Oy gevalt!

What, are you fucking crazy?! These kids are gonna get their asses kicked and ticketed if NYPD sees this!

Didn't you see what happened to Superman and Batman today??

Haven't you heard of the Pug Lady and the Hasid cop?

Haven't you heard of the the NYPD's subway ticketing spree money grab?!?

Why in the higgity-helllll would you post this picture?!!? Jeeeezusssss!

  • Quenepa

It's posted because they are annoying douche bags and should be ticketed.

  • AvenueHebrew

Speaking of annoying douchebags, who the fuck says "Higgity-hell"? Are you just joking around, or actually the kind of 18-year-old sideways-ballcap-wearing trust fund twerp who would be up-in-arms about this?

  • nicemarmot

The best thing about that photo is the expression on the faces of the people in the background. That chick looks so annoyed.

  • dr zippy

Jody Foster and Mel Gibson working together? I'm not feeling any chemistry.
