Woodstock Couple Still Together!

phpkaqN9TPM.jpg

A healthy marriage came from the age of free love! The Daily News reports that the couple from that iconic Woodstock image, which was like The Kiss in Times Square for hippies, are still together.

The paper made them awkwardly recreate the pose in their high-thread-count puffy white comforter, and reports that as the Woodstock festival marks its 40th anniversary this year, Nick and Bobbi Ercoline, now both 60, are happy together and living in Orange County, NY. "They married two summers after the fabled weekend, and they still live less than an hour's drive from the original concert site of Bethel, N.Y."

Their photograph landed on the cover of the Woodstock album and movie poster, but they said they don't even remember it being taken. "We weren't striking a pose. We were as surprised as everybody to see that photo on the album cover." They do, however, remember "an orange haze from the glowing lights of the stage. It was everywhere, lighting up the sky." So, you know.

The recreation photo sucks. Jesus, would it kill the Daily News to hire a real photographer.

Ha - it looks like they made them take the comforter off their own bed too.

Ha ha,that brown acid announcement is now a ring tone?! MUST HAVE!

Way kool dude.

I see she cut her hair and he put on some weight. Other than that they don't look anything like they did 40 years ago.

Glad to see they're still married and together after all these years!

Nice...but they still get recognized? Realllllly????

Get off my lawn you long haired stinking dope smoking commie fags!

Who's going to clean up all this shit?

What's that funny smell I keep smelling? And that purple haze, what kind of cigarettes are they smoking? French?

Who took a dump on my ornamental corn and squash patch?

And for god's sake turn down that music. It sounds like someone threw their instruments down the stairs while grabbing a tom cat by the balls.

That's somehow terribly cute.

I heard that they may have even bathed once or twice since then too.

Baby boomers = the sloppiest generation.

This story is actually pretty cool...
