Get ready an explosion of color and pride and with today's annual NYC LGBT Gay Pride Parade. The parade-march starts at noon, at Fifth Avenue and 52nd Street; the parade makes its way down Fifth, swings right onto West 8th Street and ends on Christopher Street, with grand marshals Oscar-winning Milk screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, Harvey Milk's campaign workers and LGBT activists Cleve Jones and Anne Kronenberg, and Governor David Paterson. Besides the parade, there's the Pridefest on Hudson St. between Abingdon Sq. & West 14th St. (between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.) and Pier Dance at Pier 54 (Hudson River & 13th Street; tickets are $70). Overall, expect lots of revelry in the West Village, even if they're not on the fire escapes this year! Note that this is a MARCH, not a parade. When this country has equality for all we can all celebrate with a parade. Till then, Happy Pride!!!
How does marching in a leopard pattern Speedo or a Xena Warrior Princess costume further the cause of equality? Maybe in the early days it was different, but today it is nothing more than a counter culture party... not that there's anything wrong with that.
The march went on and on and on. People could show up 2 hours late and they'd still have plenty more to see.
Here's to all my gay friends and standing up for the equal rights of all US citizens. It's not a choice, it's someone's life. It's not a choice, it's illegal. Stop politicizing gay rights.

Homosexuality is usually due to victims of adolescents or from children, not because of any genetic factors but largely because of environmental ones. The media has distorted the actual results of what those who tried to prove a gay gene actually found.
The homosexuals will even say he or she have picked up homosexual acts from around his or her environment. Homosexuality is a mental disorder. So if you show this child abusive ways, her kids mental out look will be immoral, corrupt, and debased from natural being. THIS IS CHILD ABUSE. Vote NO to homosexual marriages and help us STOP Child ABUSE.
We are free people but should not be free to do anything we want. People can’t go on beating people up. Murders can’t go on killing people. Pedophiles can’t go on molesting children. We need to be moral. Society need to be preserved. Homosexuality is hurtful and subverts society by breaking up family concept, immoral human values and perverts people.
Homosexual is an illness. Many homosexuals were molested, introduced at a young age in their environment, raped, or experimented young and gave way an emotional depressed, drunken state. Does not mean they are gay. They committed an immoral act and an unnatural act. How that person chooses to recover is his/or her free will.
When homosexual is introduced at a young age, this is child abuse.
In the King James Version, Leviticus 18:22 is translated: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."
All homosexual behavior is sinful, regardless of the nature of the relationship. Homosexuality is a chosen, unnatural, abnormal, changeable, and perverted lifestyle, which is hated by God.
