Paper Thinks McCarren Pool Parties Are Still On

Welcome to last summer amNewYork! The McCarren Park Pool parties and concerts aren't happening anymore. There was this whole long, drawn out thing about it when the series ended to make way for a $50 million makeover, at the end of which it will be a pool again. There were meetings and debates about it and stuff.

FreeWilliamsburg noticed the paper included the McCarren Park Pool parties in their "best of the free music fests," calling it an "unpretentious and charming spot." They also note the big kick-off to the outdoor venue's summer concert series is coming up on July 12th. Guess they won't have any reports from the new location on the waterfront.

This is another sad news for most of their fans, for knowing that they are no longer going to perform, they are much more be missed by their fans.
