Musicians Take to the Streets

Yesterday, the citywide project Make Music New York came together on different street corners and in unusual venues around town. Chances are if you were out, you ran into a performance of some type... like this glockenspiel jam session at East 97th Street. What did you see?

Be careful not to play that insolent jazz noise in Washington Square Park, lest you get ejected by the scruff of your dirty, hippy neck.

I agree he's attractive, but I think he's a saxOphonist.

An amazing 3 hour concert with Randy Weston,Obo Addy and Kwaku M. Obeng.

Oompah band on St. Mark's and First Ave. So THAT's what that was.
