Swimming 28 miles around Manhattan is cool. Doing it after this much rain is not, when the sewers have been overflowing for days.

Triumph the Insult Dog at Bonnaroo:

"Is this the compost heap?"

"Sorry, I was just looking for some Black-Eyed Peas singles."

Isn't Beyonce talented enough as Beyonce? I don't get the whole alter ego thing. Seems like junior high school girl mentality. Maybe she's been watching too much Miley Cyrus...or maybe she's just not that talented.

Or maybe she's talented but has the intellect of a jr. high school girl. It's not as if singing ability necessarily requires a lot of brain power.

She's definitely not very bright. And she's definitely not a great singer. But people give her catchy songs to sing and she's nice to look at, I suppose.

Can I be the first to applaud Will.I.Am and his entourage?

Central Islip, in the news again, and again in the news for disgrace. Is there a lesson to be learned?

Very nice image. Every time I try to take photos in there a security guard yells at me and threatens to destroy my film.
