Toddler Critical After Rockaway Blvd Hit-and-Run

A toddler is in critical condition after being struck last night by a hit-and-run driver in the Woodhaven section of Queens. A two-year-old girl wandered away from her house where she was with family around 9:30 p.m. and found her way onto the Rockaway Boulevard and 185th Street intersection where she was hit. The vehicle drove off and the girl remained lying in the street until another driver spotted her and called police. The girl was rushed off to Jamaica Hospital where she remains in critical condition. No witnesses were able to get a description of the vehicle.
