Hooker Booker's Lawyer: Spitzer Really Loved Call Girls

2009_06_spitzer.jpg To everyone's prurient delight, a lawyer for the woman who booked clients' "appointments" with ladies from the Emperors Club VIP prostitution ring says that former governor Eliot Spitzer was a regular customer. Marc Agniflio, who represents Temeka Lewis, told reporters that Spitzer's habit "was more than sporadic. It wasn't always more than once a month, but it was sometimes more than once a month."

Lewis booked Ashley Dupre on that February 13, 2008 meeting with Spitzer, notably telling Dupre that Client 9 could be "difficult," warning he "would ask you to do things that, like, you might not think were safe - you know - I mean that ... very basic things." She pleaded guilty to promoting prostitution and laundering the ring's proceeds last year and told the judge yesterday, "I deeply regret my decision to break the law... It was a thoughtless, careless, selfish decision. It was wrong...[I] was solely responsible for the situation." Judge Shira Scheindlin appeared to appreciate Lewis's regret, saying, "Thank you, Ms. Lewis; nicely put," and sentenced the 33-year-old to a year's probation.

Agniflio noted in court papers, "Ms. Lewis provided the government with the names of hotels, the approximate dates of meetings, the names of women the governor saw, different names the governor utilized." The NY Times reports that the lawyer further explained that Spitzer, over an 18 month-to-two year period, arranged "several different liaisons" Emperors Club girls. The meetings "took place in cities other than New York or Washington, and the governor paid using postal money orders... an indication that Mr. Spitzer was spending his own money." (Lewis's cooperation helped determine Spitzer didn't use government money.) According to the Daily News, "Spitzer bedded so many different hookers, Lewis was unable to remember for sure which prostitute told her about his real identity."

Two months ago, Spitzer, when asked by Matt Lauer for a "ballpark figure" of how many times he paid for sex, said, "Not frequently, not long in the grand context of my life."

I can't blame him for getting hooked, especially when you pay for the best ass this side of the Atlantic. It must have been addicting, but he should've taken things in moderation.

Its a good treat to have every once in a while Gov, not multiple times a month. Your doing it wrong.

"Spitzer bedded so many different hookers..."

dude, this guy knows how to party!

What a sleazebag. You men might think this is cute. I don't.

He's sleazy to his wife and I really don't care the why's, where's or how's and apparently his wife doesn't either since she's still with him. As long as he ran the State as it should have and kept the accounting straight with the steamrolling of Bruno and Silver i'm happy.

I still don't care that he paid for sex.
Everybody pays one way or another.

No truer words have ever been spoken. (Or Written)

"Not frequently, not long in the grand context of my life."

Best diplomatic answer ever! Of the 2000 times I've had sex in my life, only 100 of those times was with a hooker.

Yeah seriously. I had sex with hookers for 365 days straight but throughout my life there have been so many days I didn't have sex with a hooker that it pales into insignificance.

"I had sex with hookers for 365 days straight"

Imagine what you could have done with the money you spent on the hookers.
You could have invested with Madoff.

Either way i'm getting fucked! HIYO!

cute or not, its ridiculous how his dirty laundry is being aired here. he is not in trial here, the hooker ring is - sheesh! it really makes you wonder, again, how spitzer got busted to begin with. of course, two wrongs don't make a right, but still.
