Alaskan Teens Take Over Morning Talk Shows

Bristol Palin hit the Today Show and Good Morning America, while Levi Johnston appeared on The Early Show

Bristol Palin, Alaskan First Daughter/Mother of First Grandson, is now a teen ambassador for the Candie's Foundation, which has the "mission to educate America's youth about the devastating consequences of teenage pregnancy." Which means the teen mom appeared on Good Morning, America and the Today Show to say, "Regardless of what I did personally, I just think that abstinence is the only ... 100 percent foolproof way to prevent pregnancy... It's a hard choice, but it's the safest choice and it's the best choice." Today is National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, after all.

While she loves baby Tripp, Palin was a little regretful, "My son is a blessing. He's the best thing that ever happened to me. He's the love of my life but I do wish that years from now I could have had the same son." She explained how her life "completely changed. I’m up all night with [Tripp]. I’m constantly changing diapers and making bottles. Your priorities change 100 percent." Palin's father appeared with her on the Today Show; Todd "First Dude" Palin said, "We’re very proud of Bristol. She’s tough. She’s a great mom. We’re proud of her for taking on this national responsibility." Neil Cole, who founded the Candie's Foundation and is the CEO of the company that owns Candie's the shoe band, was on GMA with Palin; he said, "Just because you're wearing high-heeled sexy shoes doesn't mean you should have a baby."

As for her relationship with Tripp's dad and her ex, Levi Johnston, Palin said she would love for him to be part of Tripp's life. Johnston had some thoughts of Palin's new role and told the Early Show, "It's a great idea and a great message she's trying to send out to the world and all the young kids. It's not easy raising a baby. But I do think there's more things to it than just not having sex... Abstinence is a great idea but I also think you need to enforce, you know, condoms and birth control and other things like that to have safe sex."

Palin, who has said, "If I can prevent even one girl from getting pregnant, I will feel a sense of accomplishment," will be speaking at a Candie's Foundation town hall at the Times Center (1 p.m.); also speaking will be Heroes star Hayden Paniettiere, Seventeen magazine editor Ann Shoket and Tampa Bay Devil Rays pitcher Matt Garza. "It's a hard choice, but it's the safest choice and it's the best choice."

She forgot to add "and it wasn't my choice."

Trashy family. How can you respect any Republican who thought Palin was a good idea.

Oh really? Do as I say, but not as I do. How very republican and hypocritical. Why can't these people just go away and live their trashy lives without telling other people how to live?

Talk is cheap.

And the only way this pathetic family can get attention.

im just curious what it's going to be like being Bristol's kid. since popping out his life has been labeled as a "devastating consequence", a mistake, and might as well be openly admitted as unwanted to the greater public of the world.

i smell heavy drug use and a reality series in the coming years...?

'Alaskan First Daughter With a Grandson'

umm, is her kid already popping out babies?

"Just because you're wearing high-heeled sexy shoes doesn't mean you should have a baby."

Neil Cole: voice of a generation.

They call them 'fuck me pumps' for a reason.
I assume he's suggesting wrap it or else pull out.

Please go back to Alaska and stay of out of the media spotlight.

OH YEAH "great message she's sending out" Ummm, both parents have been caught in pics/videos doing drugs, he's got DUI's and unwanted teen pregnancy to boot??? Am i the only who thinks these are possibly THE WORST teen role models??? Was Nick Nolte unavailable??

She already looks well into her 30s.

If only one could preface their dysfunction with "erectile"...

What a fucking idiot. At least Levi is smart enough to start distancing himself from this stupid familiy. I hope he does come out with a tell-all book. I really hope that Bristol doesn't become the face of young Republicans; Meghan McCain would do a far better job. I at least have respect for that girl.

Did the media invite some sexually active teens who are practicing safe sex? Why is it they always talk to the ones who get pregnant or get STDs or have abortions and now regret it?

Definitely a great point there. The people who always talk about safe sex or abstinence are the ones who have a baby..

I just think that abstinence is the only ... 100 percent foolproof way to prevent pregnancy...

So is oral sex.

Don't forget anal. They're still virgins, ya know.

Bristol is hot. That being said, heaven forbid if the elder Mrs. Palin gets anywhere within a hair of the oval office.

Yeah, Bristol's pretty - and has a huge rack!

I can see why Levi nailed her (too bad he didn't use a condom!)

I wonder how she talks in the forums? I hope it's like scared straight "Even though I was a human cumbucket and had jizzballs explode in my pussy area into my womb, I don't think you teenage girls should get your cherries popped" instead of the usual "your flower shouldn't be picked until you find someone who will tend your garden"

Mom was a ditch for cum....evolution?

who cares, im sick of seeing this crap listed on all the news sites

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston are human proof of why we need comprehensive sex education in high school - including free condom distribution and prescribing birth control pills for all the girls!

Teenagers (at least the socially well adjusted ones) are going to have sex - and they need to be safe!

Nobody needs to be a mom or a dad at 17!
