Judge Burker said that Green needs mental help, not jail time for his crimes, saying during the verdict, "Put Mr. Green in a location where he can thrive. And that location is not likely to be the city of New York."
While on the stand yesterday, Green had said that he left his home in Georgia and moved to Los Angeles (where Tyra formerly taped) because he was inspired by shows she had done on racism and homelessness. Green told the court yesterday that his hometown is home of the Redneck Summer Games and eventually moved to the Big Apple because, as he put it, "It's just not a place for a young black man to make progress in life. In New York City, people are more open-minded."
The Post's Andrea Peyser quoted Tyra on the stand yesterday testifying, "I've had a passion for television since I was 9 years old." Peyser added the she said it "without a hint of weirdness." Banks's lawyers had no comment on the verdict.

""Put Mr. Green in a location where he can thrive."
I am open to suggestions and donations.
Tyra just proved that the difference between a love interest and a stalker is income and occupation.
