Natavia Lowery's Confession Ruled Admissible

phplBFIjFAM.jpg When we last checked in, Natavia Lowery suggested the killer of her boss, real estate mogul and one-time Ramones manager Linda Stein, was actually Stein's daughter Mandy. While Lowery has doled out a number of scenarios of how the allegedly abusive Stein was murdered, she also confessed to the crime herself—a confession that her lawyers say was taken illegally. The NY Post now reports that "a judge has ruled that confession is admissible, rejecting claims the statement was coerced... a coup for prosecutors, bolstering a circumstantial case strong on motive and opportunity, but lacking forensics." Meanwhile, this past weekend Mandy Stein screened her CBGB documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival. She told the Daily News, "It has been really tough. It's such a huge loss. My mom would be furious if I didn't complete this project. And now, I know, she would be proud."
