I empathize with the woman. Her only mistake was going to reclaim the "lost" child. Also she must have a very fast runner for a twelve year old child or a very very slow car.

Peyser goes on to say how cruel, selfish and downright crazy this woman is. Like the Australian writer, Peyser says that she has had problems with children misbehaving in the car but this woman pushed that anger to a psychotic level.
