Mad Mom Arrested After Dumping Daughters Roadside in Rage

042209madmom.jpg Remember all those times your parents threatened to pull the car over and leave you by the side of the road if you didn't cut the crap? One Park Avenue lawyer actually made good on that threat Sunday night, and now she's in trouble with the law. Police say Madlyn Primoff, a partner at the white-shoe law firm Kaye Scholer in Manhattan, ejected her squabbling 10 and 12-year-old daughters from the family car Sunday, some three miles from her $2 million Scarsdale home.

According to the Daily News, the 12-year-old caught up to the vehicle and Primoff drove her home, leaving the younger girl to fend for herself on the mean streets of White Plains. Luckily, a good Samaritan spotted the girl in tears about 7:30 p.m., bought her ice cream and then flagged a cop.

Shortly afterward, Primoff reported the girl missing to the police, but when she came to pick the kid up at the station, cops booked her for endangering the welfare of a child. At her arraignment Tuesday, a judge issued a temporary order of protection barring her from seeing her children; she pleaded not guilty and was released. Her lawyer, Vincent Briccetti, tells the Post his client is "a great mother connected with a great family." That may be, but Primoff probably shouldn't count on breakfast in bed this Mother's Day.

she looks like a cross between the 'put the lotion on it's skin or else it gets the hose again' guy and the cancer-dying saw guy with hair..

There are a lot of perverted men out there and for her to leave young girls alone is wrong. All joking aside, I am a man and I am sick of all the short eyes around me even at work. I am shocked how some men can look at girls sexually. It is perverse and sick. Her husband should drive her somewhere far from home and DUMP her.

  • theevilone

This is a crime? In my world it's called growing up in the 1970s. They're 10 and 12. It's not like she left a 3 and 4 year old somewhere. The only suspect part of her parenting is that her kids were too dumb to find a way home.

Everyone mentioned in this story is an idiot, including the Nanny-state that filed the order of protection, the stressed 'Im entitled to not be annoyed by my children' lawyer Mom who then filed a missing child report, and the 12 year old who left her there. It was still daylite at 7:30pm, and a 10 year old walking around White Plains should not have created all this drama.

Oh, and half the people commenting.

Im sure this will take up 3 weeks of Nancy Grace, and then the lawyer will write a book, and the girl w/ be on Larry King.

The 10 year old went off with a stranger for ice cream. Genius move, that. She's lucky she's not in a dumpster somewhere.

  • sexisicilian

If she friends with the drunk from Long Island?

I think this may be the woman who came in and screamed "FUCK YOU" one inch from my face at my (retail) job because we didn't carry what she was looking for. I am going to bug security to look at the tapes.

Yep, the rich can't handle the recession, they crack easily. What she did was wrong, Those are little girls and thank goodness Woody Allen was no where around.

  • JenChungsThong

    Dude looks like a lady.

  • bennyinsf

She had the nerve to report the child as missing. What a fool.

  • db

She probably went back but that damn good samaritan was making moves on the kid already.

  • Rocknrope

I just realized that she looks like John Turturro in drag.

When I was 7 my mom chained me to the back of our station wagon and dragged me over the 59th street bridge. Then she left me for dead at Queens Plaza. We reconciled later. But the funny thing was, I never tried to rob a bank again since that day.

  • maryjr

Damn this recession! This is what happens when people have to let go of their nannies.

  • schizofriendly

Funny because it's true. There is a legion of inexperienced, formerly well-to-do mothers who now have to, well, mother their kids. Time to crack open "Motherhood for Dummies", ladies.

I think it's great that every time someone 'Googles' the name Madlyn Primoff this story will come up repeatedly, now and forever.

I was taking the bus and subway by myself when I was 10 and received regular beatings whenever I acted like an idiot. Suburban kids are such pussies.

  • weenie

one of my brothers shoved me out of a moving Volvo once and the neighbors didn't call CPS because it was considered normal behavior in my family back in '85.

  • ides_of_march

    You mean owning a Volvo?

  • valeriob

i would smack the devil out of these kids.

and then the father pictured above.

  • Steven

Guess she is not going to be a prominent lawyer anymore.

  • whitecastlerock

A lawyer treating people like dogshit?

    I am STUNNED

  • ides_of_march

You need to be a sociopath to be a successful lawyer nowadays anyway.

  • babyhitler

this lady is rich and is in the same class as the 25 year old car crasher. UGLY! I've noticed that there are a lot of ugly ass people in this world now, and for some reason they have a lot of ugly ass babies. It's like the new darwinism, instead of the strongest surviving, it's the ugliest. I miss the late 80's early 90's when people only wanted to be beautiful and would only have sex with beautiful people. Now, thanks to all these liberals and this open and understanding society ugly people aren't afraid to fuck ugly people. Christina Aguilara had to make that stupid song too. No. You are not beautiful just the way you are.

  • hotstepper

i'm pretty sure conservatives make up a very large percentage of ugly people out there. oh and hitler was no looker either, sweetheart.

  • Guest

Christina is beautiful, but her husband definitely ain't. He married WAY above his station.

  • Amanda Harletsch

I wish it was only people. But most humans that reproduce with no limit are not only ugly but polluters... not far from being evil bacteria.

  • ides_of_march

    Spoken like a true eugenicist.

  • Rocknrope

Not EVERYBODY can be as cute as a baby hitler.

  • GOP

ugh obviously doesn't have kids. Your kids must be angels. Arresting a parent for this? Bullshit. This is why kids are having kids. They have too much power.

  • ANGRYGOD11

Is dumping children miles from home what an adult supposed to do?

  • ugh

    STFU

  • GOP

Please leave while the grown-ups speak. Thanks!

  • ugh

I'm guessing you are either related to or a friend of the douche attorney above. Like defends like.

  • Tyrell Corp

Ugh and GOP, you guys are funny. A parent should be able to manage their kids without kicking them to the curb. And, yeah, a 10 year old and a 12 year old are probably old enough to deal if they're ditched somewhere (3 miles?) in the vicinity of their home. Still, it sounds like this woman was acting like a total bitch. At least drive them home FIRST. Then go ahead and beat them with a hot iron poker if you want.

She's a f*cking attorney and can't manage two bickering children? What a tool.

  • djwerdna

I wonder how she treats the associates at the firm.

  • db

In the old days this would have been ok.Its not like she beat them.

  • nicemarmot

Hahahahaha, I did that to my little brother and a friend when I was a teenager. However, I ditched them close enough to the house that they could walk home. 3 miles is a bit much.
