Hillary Clinton Scoffs At Cheney's Credibility

2009_04_hilclint2.jpg Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made her feelings about former vice president Dick Cheney's known at a hearing today. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-California) had asked her about Cheney suggestion that the CIA's torture-related memos be declassified (because some, Cheney claims, show harsh torture=success), to which Clinton said, "It won't surprise you that I don't consider him a particularly reliable source." Rohrbacher than demanded Clinton answer the question, suggesting she would want to preserve her credibility with them (the House Foreign Affairs Committee), and Clinton said she would support whatever decision the Obama administration makes, adding, "I am not going to share that with you because I do not know any facts that support what you're describing." You can watch the exchange here.

Hillary Clinton is so ugly, she looks like Hillary Clinton.

  • ides_of_march

Like the name Clinton is synonymous with credibility. In the bizarro world perhaps but then again, that's where most left-wingers live.

yep, pot calling kettle black, but never in the eyes of our liberal media

  • chubbyemu

Ha, yeah. "Liberal media." What media are YOU following?

Cheney reminds me of Nixon. They're both "the ends justify any means" politicians. I'd call him Tricky Dick 2, but he's ten times scarier than Nixon ever was.

Republicunts are whinging about how releasing CIA memos hurt national security while simultaneously clamoring for the White House to release more classified documents. Pathetic.

  • unsunghiro

this is pitiful. Rep. Dana Rohrbacher is like a drunk frat boy next to Hillary. Or maybe The Big Lebowski... "Duuude..."

  • s0me_g0d

I wish she answered the last question and released the remaining documents to let us see for ourselves.

You started and ended a sentence with "at a hearing today". Just sayin'.
