Three Days of Rain

The weather word for the next three days is rain. Can you say rain? Rain is special. Rain makes the flowers bloom and lets farmers grow fruits and vegetables; healthy foods that you can ignore in favor of donuts and bacon. Three straight days of rain will make adult New Yorkers mutter bad words under their breath. Bad, bad words.

The cause of the rain is Mr. Low Pressure System. Mr. LPS is moving northward through the Ohio Valley. Mr. LPS will bring a steady rain over us for the rest of the day. The rain will fall from overrunning nimbostratus clouds. Yes it will. A strong easterly breeze will keep the temperature in the upper 40s.

Steady light rain will give way to heavier, but spottier, convective showers and thunderstorms tonight through Wednesday as Mr. LPS's warm front passes through the city. 1-2 inches of rain are likely through Wednesday, with higher amounts possible from thunderstorms. Despite the rain look for seasonable highs in the lower 60s Tuesday and Wednesday. Clear skies will return on Thursday and should remain through the weekend.

april showers bring may flowers.

Can't the city council do something about those nimbostratus clouds? At least take a vote to see where they stand on the issue. Is Chrisine Quinn a nimbostratus cloud in human form?

i had no idea. i always thought the thunder and lightning was zeus giving someone an attitude adjustment and the rain was their tears of humiliation and regret. still i bet zeus could whip mr lps one handed.

Rain washes garbage juice from off the sidewalk, and we are approaching garbage juice season.
