Saturday night Radio City Music Hall housed a lot of big names for a benefit concert for the David Lynch Foundation (which "provides funds to teach students how to meditate so they can change their world from within"). Lynch hosted the show, and although the evening was billed as Paul McCartney & Friends, USA Today reports that the Beatle didn't show up until three hours into the affair. Once he did, however, he played a lengthy set (watch "Can't Buy Me Love" below).
Others on hand included Moby, Sheryl Crow, Eddie Vedder, Ben Harper, Jerry Seinfeld and even Howard Stern. There are some behind the scenes looks at Lynch's website, and check out Ringo and Paul performing "With a Little Help From My Friends."

Brooklynbobby, the writing above is terrible, but Paul did NOT show up late. It's safe to assume that he took the stage 3 hours into the 4 hour show, which is what happened. Bloggers are not known for their skills at writing. Paul McCartney is a classy & charitable guy, but he's nobody's opening act.
Brooklynbobby
He shows up three hours late for a benefit he's sponsoring? Real classy!!!

Dumb indeed.
Basically they want to raise money for people who sit around all day doing nothing. Wait, that's welfare.
