- Los Angeles Clippers 140 Knicks 135 (OT): The Knicks’ season is slipping away, just like their 19-point lead did Wednesday night. That they blew that lead at home, against a team with only 18 wins, speak volumes and the way they blew it is even worse. Al Harrington drove the lane with time running down in the fourth and slammed it home to give New York a three-point lead with 27 seconds to play, but he decided to hang on the rim in celebration, drawing a technical foul. The Clippers converted the free throw and tied the game thanks to two free throws from Zach Randolph. New York went cold in OT and now their season is on life support.
- Cleveland 98 Nets 87: New Jersey stayed close, but they couldn’t stop Cleveland in the end. Vince Carter had a bad night from the field, going 7-21, but Jarvis Hayes had a nice night off the bench with 18 points.
- Minnesota 6 Islanders 2: Minnesota is playing for a playoff spot and the Islanders are playing for next year, but New York battled hard on Wednesday night. Unfortunately, Minnesota converted the chances they had and Yann Dennis had an off night.
