The Cat That Kenley Threw At Penley

2009_03_kittypr.jpg The Post reports that Project Runway finalist Kenley Collins is letting her ex-fiance keep the cat that she threw at him. On Wednesday morning, Collins was arrested after throwing cat Arlo, then a laptop, apples and water at Zachary Penley in their Brooklyn apartment, an incident the fashion designer described as being blown out of proportion and, perhaps, the manifestation of a bad break-up. The former couple had two cats and Collins said, "The girl cat [Sandra] is mine and the boy cat [Arlo] is his," which is just sad to us—Sandra and Arlo are losing each other! And Project Runway winner Leanne Marshall told the Post (which also has a shot of Collins hamming it for a photographer), "This should put a clear answer to the question I am most frequently asked, 'Was Kenley really that awful, or was she just edited like that?' When she got angry, I knew to keep my distance. Clearly, she needs therapy."

Wow, some nifty transfiguration was going on there, turning a laptop into a cat. She really is a witch!

"The Cat That Kenley Threw At Penley"?
Admit it Jen, you were Dying to write that headline...
;)

Yep, IMO, she needs help. If someone needs to resort to violence in a relationship (Throwing the Poor Cat!?!?!) they need to just get out of the relationship...

So, had they gotten married, she could have become Kenley Penley? Good thing it didn't work out.

Thanks. I was afraid that this was going to be the first article posted about this incident where no one mentioned that Kenley Penley thing. Good save.

which is just sad to us—Sandra and Arlo are losing each other!

Not necessarily sad. We don't know how well the cats got along with each other. Cats sharing households are often indifferent to each other.

completely agree. I have 2 cats. One loves to play; the other hates everything, especially the other cat.

Collins deserves a trip down the catwalk...right into a litter box.
