Spring Snow!

snow032009.jpg

Mother Nature sure has a funny sense of humor, sending a snow shower our way almost to the minute of the vernal equinox. The shortwave pulse of energy responsible for the shower will quickly move through the region and the sun is likely to return late this afternoon. The clouds and northerly winds will keep today's high in the mid 40s.

Clearing skies, low humidity and light winds add up to efficient radiational cooling tonight. Tomorrow morning's temperature will bottom out around the freezing mark. However, that same dry air will allow for plenty of radiational warming tomorrow. Sunny skies should warm the city to the lower to mid 50s by the afternoon. Sunday looks to be a couple of degrees warmer.

Looking beyond the weekend, a weak cold front is expected Sunday night. No precipitation is expected but the leading edge of high pressure behind the front means Monday and Tuesday will be on the cool side. The next real chance of precipitation is next Wednesday or Thursday.

Mother Nature, I want none of this tomfoolery on April 1.

"Mother Nature sure has a funny sense of humor..."

The real joke is "Globull Warming".

That's right, today's weather proves climate change is just a big scam! If you have children or grandchildren, I hope they remember your willful ignorance as they're forced to live with the increasingly cataclysmic consequences of our unsustainable lifestyle. Here are the facts.

Now feel free to reply with links to your hysterical, head-in-the-sand websites.

"Now feel free to reply with links to your hysterical, head-in-the-sand websites."

As oposed to your "the sky is falling and we need to help Gore and his friends make billions off of trading carbon credits (while doubling/tripling our energy costs), so they can keep funding our useless studies" websites?

You can't predict the weather a few days in advance and you want us to believe your BS?

Heres 30 thousand SCIENTISTS who think you and Gore et al are FOS:

"A review of the research literature concerning the environmental consequences of increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide leads to the conclusion that increases during the 20th and early 21st centuries have produced no deleterious effects upon Earth's weather and climate. Increased carbon dioxide has, however, markedly increased plant growth. Predictions of harmful climatic effects due to future increases in hydrocarbon use and minor greenhouse gases like CO2 do not conform to current experimental knowledge. The environmental effects of rapid expansion of the nuclear and hydrocarbon energy industries are discussed...."

30,000 American scientists who agree that Kyoto is BS...

anything that's above 30 and below 75 is fine with me.

My first thought this morning upon waking and seeing the snow was, "Joe did not tell me about this!!! I hope he has a good explanation."

Man-Made Global warming is a scam set up by private banks and the corporations in coordination with the government to tax the hell out of the masses.

Now there is Climate change cause by THE SUN, it's a part of nature.

If you really want to save the environment, fight the corporations dumping pollution in our rivers, fight the corporations that are destroying our foods with a concoction of chemicals, fight cross-species genetic engineering etc.

So when Svante Arrhenius proposed in 1896 that increasing CO2 would warm the climate he was doing so at the behest of a cabal of bankers? Good to know!

Dude CO2 is part of nature, it's natural, the Earth needs CO2.

However the Bankers + corporations through Carbon tax and Crabon credits want to tax people (for pretty much everything in our daily lives) and using Global warming as their MO to do so.

Climate change happens, The mIddle ages was a period when the temperatures were high enough to be described as a period of "global warming."

Guess what? The earth COOLS, the earth WARMS .... due to the Sun ... it's natural.

I would love to see the documentation that backs up your fascinating claims!

I would love to see the global warming lunatics buried in a landfill that emits poisonous CO2...
